More Saw-related updates

  • Saw II through IV director Darren Lynn Bousman already has 2 more projects lined up after Saw IV. One of them is his pet project, Repo, which he was supposed to be working on next but production got delayed, which is why he reneged on his previous vow to not direct Saw IV. After Repo, Bousman is set to direct the remake of David Cronenberg’s Scanners, with a script by Blade writer David Goyer.
  • Further Darren developments! Cinematical is reporting that a rumor is going around making Darren Lynn Bousman the director of a Children of the Corn remake (not a sequel but an actual remake of the 1984 original). IESB also reported this but later updated with a new source that claims the rumor is false. I think it’s important to note that neither sites declare who or what their sources are.

    Shawnee Smith gets noticed by AskMen!
